Following yesterday's announcement that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 had broken the record for launch day sales in the UK, Activision have this morning revealed a breakdown of how those units are attributed to each platform. For sales throughout North America and Europe, currently suggested to have surpassed five million units in total, it appears that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has sold considerably more units on Microsoft's Xbox 360 console than it's rival system, Sony's PlayStation 3.
