ShogunGamer review: Jules Verne's Secrets of the Mysterious Island iPhone

Secrets of the Mysterious Island (SotMI) is one of the latest developments by Tetraedge for the iPhone. The game is a complete iPhone remake (not a port) of the original PC title that was released back in 2004, which in turn was based upon a novel by Jules Verne published back in 1874. The game starts out with a crash near the mysterious and supposedly uninhabited island. You'll begin the game with two characters: Mina, and Jeb. Jeb is one of the characters whose eyes you'll be peering through as you go about your adventure. The game will force your perspective into different people based on the story line. Oh by the way Jeb just so happens to be a monkey. This gives you new abilities and a different interface theme depending on who you're currently playing as.
