Nintendo Co.'s Wii this week fell several rankings, while Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 and Sony Corp.'s Playstation 3 remain in the top 20 sales at Amazon.com's Computer & Video Games division.
In the latest sales data at the online retailer, Wii ranked at No. 6 in the top-selling video game products, down from its No. 1 position the week prior.
The Xbox 360 premium console ranked at No. 16, with little change from week-to-week sales. The Xbox 360 Elite fell to No. 228 in sales, a monumental decrease from the No. 3 position the week prior due to lack of availability.
Finally, the PS3 60GB SKU ranked at No. 19, an increase from No. 32 the week prior.
Gary Green said: We have a juxtaposition of 2D and 3D visuals, flashy turn-based combat, quirky anime characters with cheeky dialogue with plenty of partial nudity; Yes, this is a Compile Heart JRPG. Whilst the engine is borrowed from Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, Mugen Souls is more of a Disgaea spin-off. It’s not a strategy RPG as such, it merely sits within Disgaea’s ever-expanding universe (Multiverse? Netherverse? Your guess is as good as mine). You won’t find cameos though, since Mugen Souls is a franchise which aims to stand on its own two feet.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
While the mainstream media always sees things turning in favor of the hero, here are 6 games that own being a bad guy.
Pretty much all of these games listed are based around a morality system you don't have to be bad and you don't have to be good.
It seems to have left out some real amazing games like red dead redemption 1/2,ass effect and true crime la/ny
Armored Core VI?
Ok, I'm really missing something here. Just beat chapter 3 earlier this evening, unlocked A-rank Arena fights. I'm not seeing or sensing any branching paths or morality system and I've done every side mission and arena fight available to me up to that fight.
Is something big coming soon to branch the story?
No mention of Grand Theft Auto? Saints Row (original trilogy), Manhunt? Also The Suffering (depending on the ending you get).
it`s only amazon but, wow those are some numbers.
i can`t believe the ps3 is doing as well as it is right now. when we start getting some solid solid software (starting in july) the ps3 could rise quickly.
ps3 is on the slight rise, and if it's doing that well right now, in a few months with some great games comin out it could really take off. the elite fell like a brick though eh? no.228 down from no. 3 the week earlier? yea nobody wanted an elite.
even when their is a game drought right now.
They will be here soon saying "but, but, but, we have more games and the elite still rules"
*cough*The Xbox 360 Elite fell to No. 228 in sales, a monumental decrease from the No. 3 position the week prior due to lack of availability.*cough*
