GeneralGames: Torchlight Review

Torchlight is one of those rare indie titles that riffs off an established game really closely but somehow manages to make is feel even more put together and polished than the original. The innovations brought through the new pet mechanic make the game shine, and will keep players enjoying it for a very long time. It is a great disappointment there is no multiplayer and some may get bored with the repetitive combat, but Torchlight packs a highly enjoyable long-term experience uncharacteristic for a budget title.

Those who want an inexpensive but well made title that provides a near infinite amount of replay and a compelling/gratifying experience will find what they're looking for within the cavernous dungeons of Torchlight.
