A "really exciting" project in the pipeline at Team 17

Team 17 may have a secret project brewing, it would seem.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Resolution Magazine this week, the company's Design Manager, John Dennis, revealed that the team is working on something "really exciting," though he couldn't detail what exactly this refers to.

"We've got something really exciting in the pipeline," said Dennis, "but there's nothing I can talk about."

"It's a good time to be at Team 17," he added.

The independent company is perhaps best known for its Worms franchise, which has spanned releases across the last 15 years.

Dennis was at this week's Eurogamer Expo, talking about the developer's upcoming revamp of Alien Breed. The new, episodic title, entitled Alien Breed Evolution, is set for its first release towards the end of this year, with subsequent episodes due in 2010.
