Without any warning Infinity Ward updated their official Modern Warfare 2 website, forums follow later!
And it has to be said that it's looking great. Soon you'll have access to the Expanded IW Community, where you can create your own profile and network with fans of Infinity Ward and their games. You will be able to connect to your account to Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. It doesn't stop there though, you will also be able to have your own blog, the ability to create events, join groups and all good stuff like that.
For now it's just the official website but as you can see on the right the forums will be updated soon too.

Sea of Thieves... I'm not disagreeing that the game has improved in terms of content. But I feel that the most significant change between now and its release is actually the public perception. Nowadays, most people are aware that the game is a multiplayer PvP-focused experience first and foremost, and not "Black Flag made by Rare". Consequently, people dismissing the whole experience because the single-player aspect is lacking or the story is plain are much less common.
Several years ago, i submitted an idea to Rare that would change up the mechanics of battling opponents in the game. whereby if you died in battle, you turned into a skeleton warrior and had to fight your way back to the land of the living. It was an interesting twist on respawning and would allow the player to experience both sides of a battle.
I keep hoping to see something like that get added to the game.
It's sad that this quick retort is more often than not true... The industry's acceptance of release and patch has gone too far.
Lets hope they support this game unlike COD4 which only got 1 map pack and was all but forgotten about.

I joined the site, and like ya'll hope it turns out well. I was a big halo 3 guys who followed it pretty religiously loging a lot of hours. Well with the Halo 3 hype basically over I'm definately up for jumping on the MW2 band wagon. So I joined the site and hope to follow this like I did with halo. I just hope it is supported like ya'll said.
