Does killzone 2 deserve #1?

Madusha5322d ago

does uncharted 2 deserve higher pos. ?

Megaton5322d ago

It's your list, your opinion.

Personally I would have picked Uncharted 2 over every other game this year. Too bad my PS3 broke over the weekend and I had to cancel my pre-order.

Yea I would've put Uncharted 2 over everything on that list as well. I've also always thought Call of Duty games were vastly overrated so that one wouldn't even make it on my list. Of course, I only own a PS3 and I don't care about any games I can't play on it, so ODST and Forza wouldn't be on my list either. In fact, the only game from there that would make my list would be UC2. Killzone 2 just seems out of place there, cause this seems much more like a "upcoming games to buy" list, since all the titles are not released yet (except ODST which was just released?). I think my list would be more like (taking into account I have no use for anything I can't play on PS3, so all those other platforms' games are out)...
1. Uncharted 2 (by far, if only one game to buy this year it's this one).
2. Demon's Souls
3. Operation Flashpoint
4. I would put Alpha Protocol here but it's looking like that might be delayed, so if it is then I'd move Dragon Age up to this spot.
5. Then (since Alpha Protocol is being bumped off), I'd move either Crack in Time, Borderlands or Assassin's Creed II up to the 5 slot depending on ones preference.

That series is highly underrated. Fantastic games.

Killzone 2? WTF? Left 4 Dead 2!

SupaPlaya5322d ago

may be top 5 for each console is better. I think Demon's soul deserves a spot too. Support old school difficulty!

uncharted 2 second close

forza 3 in third place

I wouldnt even put MW2 on the list. Especially after seeing the new Battlefield BC 2 footage. COD is just too nooby for me now.

EKWB reportedly plagued with financial disarray many gaming pc's left without parts

EK Cooling allegedly has slipped itself into a hot soup of seemingly endless financial woes, where it has not paid its staff, suppliers, and contractors for many months as the company is facing liquidity problems and a surplus of inventory left unsold, stuck in the warehouse for a more extended period. Gamers Nexus investigated these claims made by former and current personnel, where he found trails of unpaid bills lasting as long as three to four months and unpaid raises that accumulated for almost a year.

EK Water Blocks has two entities—a Slovenian-based headquarters and a US-based subsidiary, EK Cooling Solutions. Steve narrated the series of events in detail, stating that the company was reportedly irresponsible and negligent regarding payment. Consequently, partners and employees are forced to share the burden of alleged mismanagement. It all begins with its extensive range of products, leading to a surplus of goods. EK has over 230 water blocks, 40 liquid cooling kits, 85 reservoirs, 40 pumps, 73 radiators, and 212 miscellaneous accessories.

Yes this is not about video games directly but indirectly this will impact the pc gaming/workstation space hard.

This company is massive one of two in the water cool space so if it goes poof then thousands out there have no spare parts or half built computers.

SO yeah i know not about a video game but think of it as amd leaving the pc space but this is ekwb that could be leaving water cooling in the pc space

Jayz2cents a supporter of there products also has issues

As someone that has built a watercooling rig. EK is big, but there's so many numerous watercooling part companies out there. EK's stuff isn't exactly amazing quality for the price compared to others either, it's just ok. Much like Corsair. The impact would be negligible long term. For perspective the majority of my parts are XSPC, at most I use EK for my gpu waterblocks and fittings. Both easily replaceable.
