NBA Jam is one of those awesome games that needs another in the series. I so hope if NBA Jam comes out it keeps the old arcade feel just with added graphics. I would love to see the game stay being a 2D game but in 1080P. I think if it was a downloadable game would be pretty sweet. I wonder who the hidden characters would be and if there is any chance of returning old favorites like Magic Johnson and may be this time around Michael Jordan could be in the game.

I am not sure how much it would cost but I so would love the game to have the different players from the old NBA Jam game. Plus there was different versions of NBA Jam that had different players and if they were all in this new NBA Jam you could get more people to pick from and I think would be really neat. Then next year you could have the newer basketball stars. This way you will want to come back for more next year.

So I for one would love to see a new NBA Jam game.

Nice article. I would add Tecmo NBA Basketball for the NES to this list. I liked the focus on NBA Jam, though!

Chris Buffa (Modojo): It appears publisher Electronic Arts is in the spirit of giving. Either that, or it wants to dominate the App Store charts.

Regardless of the company's true intentions, you'll be happy to know that all (and we mean ALL) EA published iPhone and iPad games are now $0.99 (or free) for a limited time, which gives you the perfect opportunity to capitalize on its best titles.

With this in mind, make sure you grab these ten games immediately.

Where Have All The Cheat Codes Gone?

Chris Buffa (Modojo): Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A

The famous "Konami Code", a string of simple commands almost every video game player knows by heart. Although it first debuted in the 1986 NES title, Gradius, the cheat gained notoriety for granting 30 lives in the NES version of Contra, a side scrolling title so difficult most players relied on the code to beat the game.
