Mr. Resetti "may be disturbing to young children"

Mr. Resetti is an occasionally annoying character that has appeared in all Animal Crossing titles, but no one would say that he could disturb anyone…Right? Well, Nintendo has issued a warning in the Animal Crossing: City Folk instruction booklet about Mr. Resetti, and believe it or not note that he "may be disturbing to young children."

Uhm...How young is young? Kind of need at least a bit of an age range to know...:/

ReTarDedFisHy5613d ago

purposely left that open for interpretation.

Bit of a smart move on their part, but still should have at least an age range since it has an E rating [it does have an E rating right :p?]

When the first Animal Crossing came out, my friend and I firmly believed him to be with that world's Mafia:

His overly hostile nature aside, he would always drop vague threats towards my character, a lot of which bordered on the whole "sleep with the fishes" motif, and was always wanting me to to "whack" something.

And hey, the fact he was always carrying either a shovel or pick-ax didn't help those perceptions.

Tom Nook is more disturbing.

you're a lone person on a journey to find yourself, come across a new town hoping to start a brand new life, and in less than an hour you're forced into crippling debt of which you can't get out of by a guy who seems to have under the table prowess and political power, fitting the mob image to the T.

"come join this town, here i give you a house and set you up nice. but now you have to pay me back. with interest. and you have to do my bidding. you have no choice."
