Rock Band 2 to get new instrument

OXM UK: Harmonix has announced that it wasn't being entirely honest with its Rock Band 2 previews, and that there's a new accessory in the works for its new game.

Since there's going to be a keyboard/synthesizer I want huge packs of NIN's, Blondie, Flock of Seagulls, Talk Talk, Foreigner, Kate Bush, Tears for Fears, and many more Wave bands. I would also like Home Sweet Home by Motley Crue.

That's not confirmed anywhere. The article says its a port for an accessory (not another peripheral).

Why would they make a guitarist buy a drum kit just so they can play keyboard?

More likely it will just be a second kick pedal OR a hi hat pedal that will change yellow notes to blue when the pedal is lifted.

if they do add a keyboard i wish they add alot of E.L.P, Yes, UK, and many more prog bands.

i really wish they add in tarkus. that would be epic to play on rockband.

tho i can see rockband pulling a prog style game witch would make more money than any game in the world.
