I never heard Square Enix Chief saying: We are going to made a improved port of the PS3 version.

I just heard, we try to port the PS3 version to the xbox as fast as possible.

:) as fast as possible means:
When something isnt working right, u need to just take out things till its working right on the console.
And i guess, in late 2009 Square Enix is canceling the 360 version because it wouldnt be the same as the PS3 version because it cant handled it right.
So they took out to many things.

Thats my guess, not yours.. but i just see it realistic.

6 PS3 titles on that list to 360's 2 titles? Man the Xbox jst can't seem to get a break in Japan these days. It just seems that MS tries so hard to apeal to them over there yet they still give it the colder shoulder.

Yeah, it seems Japan can't be won over. At least the 360 has made up some ground, though. The efforts haven't been completely in vain, but I don't think they'll be passing the PS3 over there.

Well, my guess would be that the PS3 version of Last Remnant would sell more due to it being higher on the list but these are just polls. As for WNC versus the 360 version of LR... I say that WNC will still sell more. I only say that due to the sheer volume of PS3 they have over there.

360 gets the port and the 5 disc install,arcade owners will not be able to play it,this is hdd only system guaranteed.5 discs sh*t were in the hd generation ,is it in MS interest to own up to this, we have fx111 but you need a multi pack to play it.talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

I don't care about any Final Fantasy games any more. Square-Enix doesn't know how to make a good FF game. Squaresoft knew what they were doing but there hasn't really been a good FF game since PS1 (FF10 is debatable). I'll be passing on FF13 and anything dealing with the FF13 universe. I mean it's bad enough that FF13 will flop seeing as how Square-Enix is behind it but it's just even worse when the characters and environment (as seen in the trailers) look dull.

Square-Enix & Bandai Namco have been pushing out a lot of garbage games lately. It's like they don't even care about the quality of their games anymore.

Japanese gamers who were looking forward to FF13 before the announcement for 360 already went and got a PS3, hence the 2.4m total sales there so even if it is announced for the 360, it won't hurt the ps3 THAT much.

every game starts on a computer because consoles are to run the games not to create them. studios use a computer with a game engine like Unreal engine, from epic, to develop the games or in this case, the Crystal tools that is an engine that was created by S-E to make the upcoming FF games.

sometimes this engines are optimized to develop for a single console to take advantages from all its specs but there are other like the Unreal engine that are good for multiplat. that's why you see so many tittles that use the unreal engine. it's a multiplt engine that studios can buy from epic to save time and money instead of build their own. the problem here is that the architecture of the PS3's a b1tch and the unreal engine doesn't run as good as on the x360 because the ps3 needs special optimizations to run smoothly.

-the ps3 has a single core with a ppu and 7 or 8 spe's with a GPU that does direct support to the cpu and a divide ram memory. ram = 256mb rambus that runs at 3.2ghz and 256mb ddr3 (i think).

-while the X360 has a traditional cpu with 3 cores and a GPU combo that runs just like a pc and 512mb of ddr3 shared ram. =obviously this make it easier to develop for but not better.

in simple words; the X360 is a pc optimized to play games on your tv, as simple as that. -but a pc has 2GB of ram and bla blah blah? yeah because a pc runs a lot of services and sh1t like antivirus, messenger, browser and a lot of more things so it need more ram and more cpu power than a console. with half the specs of a pc from nowadays a console could run a game just as good as a pc.

-however in this case you would say: "but S-E said that the crystal tools was build with a multiplat environment in mind".

well you're right but before it were a multiplat engine, the engine was created to develop exclusively for PS3 and every line of code written for these FF games are optimized to try utilize all the PS3 power.

-then how's S-E it's going to port it to the x360 then?

well in the same manner that other studios have been utilizing the Unreal engine to run on the PS3. optimizing the code and doing some other changes like compressing, removing some animations, etc.

BTW there were some articles from EA saying that the X360 benefits from ps3 optimizations or something like that so, if you wanna know more then look for them.

my take:
i consider the blu-ray the only edge the PS3 has over the X360 because graphically they are on par. ;;;;; some people could argue that the ps3 has a little of more power and i believe it too. Killzone2 -its the prove. even though the PS3's hard to develop for there are some beautiful games already like Uncharted (too bad it has so much tearing, correct that for the sequel and add a little more of interaction and refraction to the water and that would be one of the most beautiful games ever. you just start the game and when you see the ocean in the first chapter your first reaction is going to be, WOW! believe it!), MGS4, Heavenly Sword, Lair, Gran Turismo, Ratchet & Clank are some of those beautiful games.

well i know the most wanted games im looking forward too for the ps3 is resistence 2, the new prince of persia, resident evil 5 *one of the reasons i bought a ps3 for*, final fantasy 13 and 13 versus*final fantasy games is also another reason i bought a ps3 for* id would list the other great games out now and comnig soon but these are the most wanted ones im listing

and of course because the ps3 has backwards compability i can play previous ps2 games i never played since in never owned a ps2 in my life.
