Blu Ray has been supported on PCs since the first PC drive models came out. Apple is just now adding support to its MAC OS X line, whereas Vista has fully supported it from its introduction. Also, the hardware for Blu Ray/HD DVD video/audio decoding has existed in the PC world for about 3 years now.
