Eternal Sonata Confirmed for PS3 in NA with New Characters, New Dungeons and More

Santa Clara, Calif., (July 15, 2008) – Leading video games publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., today announced Eternal Sonata for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system. An award-winning role-playing game inspired by the life of legendary composer Frederic Chopin, Eternal Sonata is set to arrive on the PLAYSTATION 3 system this fall with new quests, new playable characters, new music and more.

Seriously, I played the demo on my Elite. It looked very pretty, but it seemed a bit average.

Extra characters wont make me want to get it for my PS3.

I already played it on my 360 and it looks really good but the actual gameplay and story suck hardcore. I actually fond myself trying to make it through the rest of the game just to get the achievement for beating it. Yes the game is that god awful

I was upset when they said the ps3 would only have a japanese version at first. I don't mind importing certain games.

I beat this on the 360 and it's actually a good game, a little on the easy side but like some used to say, when it debut on the 360 it's not "Final Fantasy 13"...as if(well you no longer can use that as AMMO)

Still a great game visually speaking, good voice and a decent story, let alone you will learn a thing or 2 about MUSIC and "Frédéric Chopin" life during the war period in his time. Also you get to see pictures of the time and churches/paintings.

I actually learned some things from this game. Knowing I'm a Vg game music freak it was well received by me.

They just needed the exclusivity window to get closer to expiring. Hopefully MS footed the bill for a lot of the costs and PS3 owners get the game for a discount seeing as how they had to wait a year. I doubt it though...

first, the game is over a year old and it will be even more once it finally comes out, second, it was already announced long time ago for ps3, and 3rd, the graphics still have not changed to make this port a considerable margin of differences.
