Soulcalibur IV Update

Gameplayer has gone live with a new look at the highly anicipated fighting game Soul Calibur IV, which will include Darth Vader and Yoda as part of the fighting roster.

"The philosophy behind the Soul Gauge and the new armour system is that it stops players from guarding too much and encourages offensive play. Besides, not only does shattering a piece of your opponent's armour look cool – with metal fragments exploding off their shoulders, belts or boots – but it also opens them up for one of the game's new 'Critical Finish' moves."
