Gaming Age reviews UEFA EURO 2008

For everyone out there who just has to have a soccer game not just every year, but every 6 months, EA hears your plea. Celebrating the excitement of the UEFA European Soccer Championship comes the only official game of the series. The question always comes to my mind when doing one of these games, much like when playing the Olympic Basketball titles is why would anyone choose a title such as this over the major FIFA brand? Sure the game gains momentum strictly for the fact that you will get a more polished engine since the game is 6 months later, but you get less teams and a game that is only focused around that championship series. That's like buying a baseball title where it features only the division and wild card winners and playing only the playoffs and World Series.
