Mass Effect 2 will "blow people away"

Speaking to play.tm this week, BioWare PR boss Matt Atwood has teased us on the prospect of a Mass Effect sequel, stating that the new title will literally "blow people away". Crikey.

Chatting to this site about the release of Mass Effect on the PC ("the game looks and feels phenomenal on the PC and we are very proud of what the team is delivering"), we were scavenging for details on the series' future, Atwood stating: "We haven't announced a date or time frame yet, but don't worry, we're hard at work making a game that is going to blow people away."

The PR chief also revealed that Dragon Age is "looking really great", while BioWare could make non-RPG focussed titles in the future.

will the alien and girl also "Blow Me Away"??...

morganfell5805d ago

no they will not. the real innovations are special custom music tracks for the elevators.

also, the mako has been made more realistic so when your crew exit the vehicle their intestines are hanging out of their rear and there is vomit in their helmets.

Tomdc5805d ago

it'll blow us away huh? cos the makers aren't biased...

Rikitatsu5806d ago

"If developers see what we are working on right now, they will lose motivation to Make action games "

LOL!

but srsly lets see how ME2 looks like

Alcohog5805d ago

Haha never heard that one. Comic gold!

power of Green 5806d ago

LaChance5805d ago

you got 5 disagrees for nothing.
Seems like some people just click diagree when they see you lol.

pimpstation5803d ago

Actually agree with you POG. I'll be picking up the definitive version of ME and ME2 for the PS3.

power of Green 5806d ago (Edited 5806d ago )

Why the dissagree?.

Now that I think about it this just mostly PC news why did the contributor add console channels?. lol

Its almost like the way this post was edited /submited the contributor was suggesting there is some sort of announced PS3 news in the text lol.

Not surprizing with Cyruss's clear agenda

crck5806d ago (Edited 5806d ago )

so said people can be prepared for the landing of any blowing that does occur.

spectyre5805d ago

You got a buttload bubbles there. And with comments like that I can see why...bubbles up!

Dark_Vendetta5805d ago

Actually they already said that it'll be an 360 exclusive and they'll maby port it later to the PC (I could bet they'll port it but maby they are not allowed to say it)

shrimpboat5805d ago

If they make a version for the PS3 and not a port then the PS3 version will impress. If it is just a 360 game with a port then it will just be more of the same game.

How about a few RPGs that deserve some love instead?
1 - Alpha Protocol - Now on GOG
2 - else Heart.Break()
3 - Shadowrun Trilogy
4 - Wasteland 2
5 - UnderRail
6 - Tyranny
7 - Torment: Tides of Numenera

And for a bonus game that flew under the radar:
8 - Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

DustMan20d ago

Loved Alpha Protocol in all it's glorious jank. Great game.

SimpleSlave20d ago (Edited 20d ago )

Not only glorious jank, but the idea that the story can completely change depending on what you do, or say, or side with, makes it one of the most forward thinking games ever. The amount of story permutation is the equivalent of a Hitman level but in Story Form. And it wasn't just that the story changed, no, it was that you met completely new characters, or missed them, depending on your choices. Made Mass Effect feel static in comparison.

Alpha Protocol was absolutely glorious, indeed. And it was, and still is, more Next Gen than most anything out there these days. In this regard at least.

Pity.
