What Guitar Hero 4 needs to do.

XBF's James Cook writes: "...Neversoft did their best to make the franchise more casual friendly by extending the time period in which each note could be hit and filling the set list with killer well-known rock tunes, both of which were something of a let down to fans. So here is an old-fashioned list of what they shouldn't do in Guitar Hero IV.

1. DO NOT blindly copy Harmonix. I know this point seems redundant, as 'Let's be like Rock Band' appears to be Activision's aim in the near future, but it goes beyond obvious similarities. Things like the band World Tour mode, the hit notes counter during guitar solos and the freedom to drum solo are brilliant aspects of Rock Band, and Activision needs to come up with their own rival features rather than just blatantly ripping Harmonix off. ...[continued through 10]"
