NEW Ghostbusters gameplay footage

It is sad to say that due to the feeble power and poor architecture of the Xbox 360, the Ghostbusters video game has to be dumbed down and gimped because of the Xbox 360's lack of standard HDD and last-generation optical disc format found exclusively on the Xbox 360.

The developers have stated that only with the PLAYSTATION© 3 could they achieve what they had envisioned for the game however due to the fact that they had to also develop the game for the Xbox 360 many great true next-generation enhancements had to be scrapped in order to accommodate the inferior Xbox 360 architecture, leaving the Ghostbuster fans with a gimped version of what was truly planned.

The Xbox 360 version will look soooo much better, but for now you won't see it b/c as stated by my friend ry-guy this is a "S-O-N-Y" game and so they'll brainwash you sony fans as always.

Sony is a bit smart though,...they did want to make some money from this game so they definately made an Xbox 360 version, LOL!!!

hmm combat looks a bit cluncky n graphics need some work. the slime tether looks cool n i like the "bash enemies into stuff" mechanic a-la folklore and wild 9. might be worth getting just for the story cos its written by Ramis and Akroyd

...quite looking forward to this. I enjoyed the two movies and wished they would have returned for a 3rd time however, this looks great. I could almost smell the melting marshmellow.

Loved the innovation with the slime tenticles on the proton pack. The graphics are looking pretty good so lets hope the full game looks as fun as the footage.

All you haters saying "omg, this looks interesting now" aren't Ghostbusters fans. I have loved the movies since they came out. I used to watch them every year on broadcast TV. I saw Ghostbusters II in theaters and loved it, i still do. sure some of you may hate Ghostbusters and expect a Killzone-like experience... but you won't get it. This is the true Ghostbusters III movie, written by Dan Akroyd and Harold Ramis, except in video game form. You can't expect any better than this experience. I read an article stating that Bill Murray said they were all too old and overweight to be in the 3rd Ghostbuster film, so now you get to play "in the 3rd Ghostbuster film" You will never see Ghostbusters III in theaters (IMHO) so play this game, love it for what it is, and finally get to experience being a GHOSTBUSTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG day one purchase, regardless of reviews. So many reviews focus on graphics and gameplay, but come on, this is F$*king Ghostbusters! OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
