it's that sites, mags and journalist are all swayed by self bias, swag, advertising dollars and other various forms of payoffs.

I have played both games for a few hours each side by side and sometimes I forget which version I am playing until I squeeze the controller.

Just look at the comparison video between Gears and Gears 2. They darkened the detail a bit in Gears. Brumak on the original Gears of War has a lot more detailed then displayed in that video comparison. I played the level today just to see for myself.

You can't trust gaming media outlets at all. We have to rely on user feedback but there is just too much fanboy nonsense to know who to trust with that as well. Guess we are all alone and have to make our own decisions or rely on a few close friends. Which is what I do most.

No shock at all from me. Did anybody notice how they've given absolutely no attention to the new gameplay footage of Killzone 2 and Resistance 2? They just let it slide like it doesn't exist, not only do they not post 720p versions, but they don't post them at all. Period. No comparisons to Resistance 1, no analysis, nothing. Maybe Gametrailers is a little biased, but it's the only (decent) site with a wealth of game trailers available, actually works most of the time, and has got good enough servers to cope with bandwidth.

I'll still use GT, but probably not to view comparison videos anymore. Most likely GT will ignore this problem and hope that it goes away, I hope that it doesn't they need to make a public apology atleast.

I had gone to gametrailers in the past to see footage of games and such, but never really paid that much attention to the comparisons (Until the DMC debacle). Since I only went there once or twice a month, it never really stood out. If this trailer is true (which it looks to be), this is low and unacceptable. I guess I'll have to add then to the list of unreliable game media sources along with Gamespot.

It is pretty strange. Gametrailers always makes the 360 version look better. They first wouldn't turn full RBG on and made fun of PS3 fanboys because of it. Then they turn it on and compare without full RBG on Uncharted and said there were no differences. The only comparison video that made the PS3 look better was Ironman. I'm lucky enough to have both consoles set up together, and if your seriously trying to tell me the ps3 version doesn't suffer from bad framerate and terrible tearing or rippling effects, your either blind or just want to try and defend your console, (sad really). First they intentionally made PS3 games look worse by not enabling its full color pallete, then said it wasn't the Full RGB option, that their PS3 dev kits didn't output HDMI.

But since when has a journal site been able to acquire Dev Kits of any console? Then they posted the videos of Component vs. HDMI feeds (which were impossible the entire year before) as a way to convince that it wasn't that they weren't enabling RGB Full, it's that PS3 games simply look washed out on component feeds. First it depends on what your looking for, this is not GT5p it's not meant to be a real racing game it's an arcade type of game, and because of that it's actually fun to play if you just want to get in and race and have fun...

If your looking for the real, something that is more simulation and accurate then this is not your game. This is about fun, and racing with out worry of real penalty's. Your free to hit into the guy next to you and smash him off the road because you don't race that well, it's fine in-fact the game doesn't slow you down or call you on the crash, everything just keeps going.

It's just meant to be fun, not really hard. The replays are a thing of beauty, they let you just run the whole race back from beginning to end and you can stop and slow down at any point, switch views -rewind fast forward all so fast and fluid that it just seems amazing.

I liked the game and will be picking up a copy for my PS3 when it comes out, something for just having fun with. it's an arcade type of racer and in that sense it's just a fun game.

if GT5p is the real then this is the arcade version for just having fun. I would say it's a buy, if you liked Dirt, then you should love GRID.

Using the PS3 version and saying its the 360 copy of the game then dumbing it down and saying it's the PS3 version. That doesn't set off any red flags for you? You must be retarded. Then again you did buy a 360 so i guess you are.

no the PS3 is slightly better because it looks a little better. It's really hard to tell but the PS3 has a little better lighting and the car has a slightly better detail. (like it looks more real)

I think it's the way PS3's uses lighting and shade, it's like the same way the GTA IV looks just a little more real on PS3.

(Also this could just be a personal view-point but I like the feel better on PS3, something about the skids feel slightly better to me, but that could just be because the way the PS3 controller has the two analogs next to each other. Creates a different feel, that I just may be more use to at the moment from playing all that GTA IV.)

But this is something you will only notice if you have both. If you just have a 360 the game looks fine, it's fun to play, and both copies are so close that you don't lose out on either system.

I was NOT giving a fanboy view, I only say this because I think this is what the video meant, I was just saying what I saw biased off the two versions, again I have both systems and I'm over 12 so I really don't care about fanboy sh$^..., I get games for both systems.

And I'm a Gamer Period.... I started on PC and as soon as I finish building my new system I hope to start enjoying some Crysis on PC.

Can't really say I trust any video game web site entirely. And it's their own fault.

if they messed up their video or not, I have downloaded both demos and switched between them.....the 360 version is somewhat cleaner and less aliased (the text in the menus even have jaggies on the ps3). Im pretty sure the framerate is a touch nicer on 360 and less screen tear too.

I'll take my 360 regardless of which version of a racing game I'll never play has the better crash physics. We all have our preference, but at the same time, we can all agree that "fixing" a video comparison is NOT COOL, assuming they did this on purpose.

The video mentioned that they were caught AGAIN, implying that this has been done before. What game(s) is the video referring to? I'd like to know.

Hopefully Gametrailers will do the common sense thing and put up a new comparison that clearly shows the buttons in the bottom corner.
