Jolt Review: Viking: Battle for Asgard

Jolt writes: "Who the bloody hell decided that stealth sections in action adventure games was a good idea? Seriously, who is the son of a bitch who decreed that games can be made better by shoehorning in arbitrary sneaking sections? Well, whoever it is, for all but ruining Viking: Battle for Asgard, thank you very much. Hopefully, for your sake, you'll die of severe rectal trauma before I catch up with you [Should I be calling for the nice nursey lady now? - Ed].

Viking: Battle for Asgard is a game that started out life with such an abundance of promise. For starters, few developers use Norse mythology or Vikings as a premise for their games, leaving a massive gap in the market, and for a developer as highly respected – nay, loved – as the Creative Assembly to tackle the Norsemen seems like an open invitation for enthusiasm."
