More leaked GTA4 video, 8 minutes of actual gameplay

This video shows mostly gameplay. However you might recognize the first minute which contains intro scenes shown in a previous, but now widely circulated video. This video is different, showing things such as car jacking, a club scene with a magic show, and encounters with LCPD. It looks like whoever made this video is from France judging by the French subtitles.

Anyways i can't say i was too impressed but with a game like GTA you have to play it yourself to appreciate it. The best part was where the black guys started chasing him for trying to get into the jeep. lol everything else was pretty boring to me

the graphic look much better than I was expecting but the animation that I though was going to be really great could have been better also I thought the city would look more populated.
But wow the city looks great the indoor stuff with the magician looked cool like a real show.

With GTA the gameplay has always looked better than the scenes. Also you have to remember time and place depends how many people will be around. It won't be empty like that at Times Square at noon.

I kinda liked the combat system i saw jabs hooks uppercuts and kicks, and it looks like the fighting will last much longer than the previous GTA games. I liked the fight he had with the white guy in coney island when Niko kicked him in the nuts and jumped on his back when he doubled over...now that was a dirty fight.

...parents enforce parental control on this one. It looks much more brutal than previous GTA titles. I'm sick of getting on-line and playing adult games like COD4 to hear "kids" at the other end. Also sick and tired of hearing about kids in trouble with the law saying they got the idea from GTA.

The driving looks hard though. The guy playing had a lot of trouble in the beginning and it was very amusing to watch him crash. The crashes look more realistic.

I laughed so hard when he was being chased by the 3 guys in circles then jumped in their vehicle and went away.

to be honest, i wasn't that impressed. it looked like the a ps2 gta with high res graphics, and it seems like it plays exactly the same, down to the cars with the turn radius too big for the roads..

GT5 Prologue is a driving simulator. It's supposed to be as realistic as possible, so it's natural if driving is hard as fck. GTA4 is NOT a driving sim, it's an open-world action/adventure game, where you have a lot more to worry about than just driving. If they make driving too hard/realistic, the game is no longer fun and easy to play. They're two different types of games, you can't/shouldn't compare them, so don't even try, fanboy.

That was pretty great I loved the animations and the fighting. I loved how people who witnessed a crime called the cops. Only thing that looks dumb is the driving. Anyone noticed the driving sucks really bad. Kinda like hes driving on ice. Ill see how driving is when I play it but from this video it looks horrible.

I honestly wasn't impressed by what I saw. Driving looks like it turned into a huge b1tch with bad turning, and crashing into another car pretty much puts you under it. Hand-to-hand combat still looks as broken as ever, there's no scenery/vibrant colors to enjoy (graphics are great, but this is still the ugliest GTA game i've seen), and like someone mentioned earlier, the place is a ghost town.

I wanted this game to be as absolutely amazing as the "perfect" reviews said it was, but if Rockstar's reason for not releasing footage was to hide these problems from us, then i'll be really disappointed and might even skip this one.

Omgz, i think i wet myself a few times. Its looks sooooo much better than what i pictured it. The driving is insane, the car physics are soooo awesome and look like they have real weight to them, did you see how heavy the SUV looked when it fish tailed as he tried to make that turn, *droooolz*.
