Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Bugs Not Limited to PS3

Apparently, the bugs that gamers have been experiencing with the PS3 version of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 are not confined to just the PS3 version. Many gamers have reported that they were unable to connect to servers, the game would freeze and require a restart, and many reports of connections being dropped caused Ubisoft to look into the issues.

Now, Xbox 360 users have noticed some issues with their version as well. Some of the bugs and glitches reported mostly occur when gamers try to carry data over from the original RSV which causes a gamerscore glitch, but issues regarding start-tracking have also been confirmed.

If you look at Bethesda Softworks, you will see a big difference in the quality of their titles vs the quality of other titles. The biggest reason is because they have a dedicated QA dept. Where as the ubisofts and EA's all run sweatshop QA operations trying to cut corners and cut costs. You end up with less quality work and the games show it. Buy More Bethesda Softworks Games. I'm not saying Bethsoft games are bug free, I'm just saying there is a difference in quality.

Sony fanboys need to just accept the fact that third party games aren't going to work online on launch day. Same thing happened with COD4. Same thing will happen with GTA IV. Mark my words. Another example of Wait B3yond. Wait for the patch so you can play the game you paid $60.

PS3 has 512mb of ram too --256mb XDR at 3.2 ghz and 256mb of GDDR3 at 700mhz

x360 has 512mb of GDDR3

PS3 runs games at 1080P native. x360 can only upscale to that rez

The 360 version has an achievement bug but it nothing like the bug riddled PS3 version. It is garbage and no amount of deflection is going to change that yet another game plays like garbage on the PS3.

And why don't the admins do something about this Nasim/Tidus guy? He obviously doesn't get the hint that noone wants to hear anything he has to say and that is why he goes to 1 bubble. But nooooo like a nerd at a party who won't take the hint and leave he keeps hanging around.

I'll be the first to say that vegas 2 on ps3 is an atrocity but i cant think of one other game i had major problems with that doesnt tie back to be a problem with my server or NAT ( I have these problems on my xbox too )

We have played Rainbow Six:Vegas 2 for a solid 6 days.

The boards have been PACKED: NO PROBLEMS LIKE THAT!

The only problem is, some of us didn't get a 10 or 15 point rank up for those of us that beat Vegas 1 on Realistic. Thats it.

This guy wants the 360 version to have problems because the PS3 version is plagued with them for some top games (Vegas & COD 4).

and btw what problems did you run in to on cod4 on ps3 because so far ive had no problems with cod4 on 360 or ps3 soo you=fail

this is a reason why im patient for release dates. ya, sure. delay the game if it needs more time. i dont mind. maybe sniffle a lil....but id rather spend my hard earned cash on a reliable, complete, and flawless technical game then have it all right now. shame on you UBI.

i got rainbow 6 vegas a few days ago for ps3.. it is damn near impossinle to get into online games with your friends.. some would be able to join and some cant.. its a shame and a sin.. pisses me off..

NOT only that but the game runs in ONLY 720p.. we are in 2008 now, why make a game that runs in ONLY 720p.. i am verry dissapointed in the presentation of this game.. I got an HDTV early and it only runs at 1080i.. so Rainbow 6 looks HORRIBLE on my TV.. I am almost forced to by another HDTV but i know "real" developers will make there games span ALL HD settings.. UBISOFT is just panzy company like EA now.. and will stay away from them.. Back to COD4 i go after i complete the single player..

Can anyone on here give me some good advice on a descent HDTV i can get for around $800?? that would be verry useful

So the game is really quite broken on both console...? Sound like a rush launch to me those are the effects of GTAIV and GT5. Shame on u Ubi ur last promise to deliver the best game on both console are scatter into pieces now.

The game experience is smooth as a butter on the 360 (unlike on the ps3), obviously some people will try to drag the 360 down out of spite.

I feel bad for the ps3 guys that like this game and want to play it online running into all these irritating problems.

i don't under stand how you 360 kids think that this is somehow the playstations fault. noobisoft obviously rushed this game. and didn't take the time to test it before they released it and it doesn't work on the playstation. thats it. it's no fault of the ps3. the ps3 didn't make the game. i understand fanboys feel the need to try to put down the others console every chance they get. but when something like this happens. we as gamers should be smart enough to realize that the developers are to blame. r* did the same thing with bully. their is no excuse for it. so when developers fail. we ALL lose.
