The thousand year old door actually made me laugh out loud..It's the writing in the game that really shines even to this day.

Super Paper Mario is still a great game, Actually it was originally designed to be one of the Gamecube's final first party titles, but Nintendo figured they could make more money selling it as a Wii title.

So they reworked the game to include the pointer mechanic and the rest is history.
