@ alph the reason people associate cod with xbox is, that Microsoft announced at last year e3 that they will have content thrown there way first by activision and couple the fact everything cod related seems to have Microsoft or xbox atteched to it.

Did anyone read the article? The author is assuming that Sony will have a similar deal with battlefield like Microsoft with cod.

@wicko - Exactly. Publishers are the ones who set budgets, deadlines etc and sometimes force the devs to push out unfinished games that could have been gems with more dev time, like APB and Brink.

well gears of war 3 in my opinion is better than kz, and certainly much better than socom(SOCOM LOL), the great games on ps3 are Uncharted (this game is the Sh!t) and GOW, R is good but not great and Forza 4 gonna be sweet, forza 3 already exceeds GT5 in scores, online play is better than psn, demo and dlc support is better, most games are built on 360, means better gfx and performance(Resi5,red dead,gta 4,black ops)

call of duty is the best selling franchise on the ps3 I own every cod title since cod 4 as do many others i have a life and am only looking for quick blast around for which call of duty is fine for me battlefield is irrelevant to me i have no interest in it.

If i get any dislikes from battlefield fans they prove themselves to be hypocrites because of the amount of scrutiny cod fans have come under for being "fanboys" the image i believe to represent both battlefield and cod fanboys of which i am fortunately neither

This is an easy one. MW3 on the Xbox 360. MW3 on XBL will have like 3 million people online at midnight launch, probably closer to 1:00 a.m. actually.

Also MW3 will have the MLG deal going on and the most teams competitively on Gamebattles. It's really not even a question. Honestly I don't have a single friend on my PS3 list or Xbox 360 list that play any Battlefield game anymore, while 75% of them are still on either Black Ops or MW2. That's a lot of people.

COD just has that staying power and of course the COD games are always better on the 360. So it's a no brainer.

I'm surprised BC2 is even in there, but COD is the clear winner with the top TWO spots. PSN probably looks about the same as well. At least Halo: Reach on the 360 is up there competing but I can't think of any game that could have sold enough copies to compete on the PS3.
