The Stellar Blade battle isn't over, and distributor Sony has taken sides against its customers. Yesterday, reports came in that the highly-anticipated game had been censored in both the gore and at least one costume.

Nobody is calling for censorship of any games except the main stream media.

Much of the marketing focused on the fact that the main character is hot and that the game isn't censoring anything regarding gore. If you market your game one way and then start patching out the stuff you marketed it's incredibly disingenuous. It's a bait and switch. It always starts small and ramps up. The very fact that they altered the game to appease a few loud critics should concern everyone. I want to experience a game the way the developer wanted. Not some committee sitting in a board room forcing said developer to alter that vision to appease a few critics.

I think you’re mixing up the few and the majority here. The majority of people just want to play a good game, the few want to kick up a fuss because of a couple of aesthetic changes to what was shown in the run up. I’m having a lot of fun with it and unsurprisingly Eve’s outfits or the lack of racist graffiti has had literally zero bearing on my enjoyment.
