Is Marvel Rivals headed to other platforms outside of PC? NetEase mentions they are exploring the idea but deleted any mention of it.
NetEase has required content creators to sign a contract prohibiting them from saying anything bad about Marvel Rivals for playtest access.
No faith in the product. Why should I put faith that it will turn out any good and spend money on it?
Pretty unethical practice. But there will be content creators happy to shill it like they did with other bad products in the past. I remember kinda funny games telling us how great the Avengers live service game was.
It's hard to actually judge the value of this proposition
for 1) it could have a perverse effect on the perception that the game must suck if they don't allow negative reviews.
But on the other hand, we have seen how a game can be tanked just by having streamers or content creators bashing the game just for the sake of bashing due to the nature of the game or who's behind it.
My best example would be Day's Gone where the media already bashed the game due to being another generic open world with a white male protagonist.
A balance should be found between both extremes.

Honestly I think the game looks average first impressions wise and will probably die off within a year or so.
As a former Overwatch player, I know first hand where games like this lead. I'll not be wasting my time with it.
Jeez man we want games to grow and develop and if we're prevented from that this is how games dying amidst other complications.
This means the game sucks. Now we can move on ahead of time and look forward to something else.
An MTX marvel game not going to consoles would eat massively into their profits. So, you know, it will go there. Or they're dumb. The game is purely about MTX.
