A new mission is coming to Helldivers 2 that looks to lead to the destruction of the galaxy, which could bring The Illuminate to the game.
So yes I think this was basically revealed yesterday. So apparently (and mind you HD lore is really quite dark) they have Illuminate blood stored from the first war that will be used as a super weapon to destroy an entire planet. The bug blood, BTW, is also used by Super Earth to power FTL travel.
Can't wait to experience the last stand of the super bug colony. And then face the Illuminate.
Helldivers 2 can often make players wish they were safe playing Stratagem Hero, but there’s little reason to indulge in the arcade mini-game anymore.
Following multiple weapon nerfs that have turned players away from Helldivers 2, the devs will begin reversing these in the next update.
i never understand the idea of "balance" in a single player game as long as the weapons weren't game breaking. They were fun to use.
I think you meant PvE and not single player... though you could certainly play Helldivers 2 only as a single player game.
Anyhow, I do agree but they're has to be options in the meta not one all powerful weapon that everyone uses.
Who needs pvp when your teammates repeated kill you with friendly fire?

Instead of wasting resources on this feature, do more to promote a healthier community. They should implement vote to kick and provide more options for reporting toxic players. Imagine spending 30+ minutes with a team completing all the objectives across the map only to be kicked by the host right before extraction. All that investment, samples collected gone.
The host has too much power in Helldivers 2 and the enforcement opportunities are laughable.
Want PVP mode? Clear an area and just fight eachother ……. This is a game about fighting for democracy, not fighting eachother for no reason. If you want PVP play Call of Duty or Destiny.
