Anyway, the bottom line here is that Unicorn Overlord has serious potential. Between Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, Persona 3 Reload, and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, RPG fans are already eating ridiculously well in 2024 — but you need to keep an eye on Vanillaware's latest, even with the likes of Dragon's Dogma 2 closing in. If any studio deserves a smash hit, it's this one.
Embark on an epic adventure in Unicorn Overlord, a medieval fantasy game filled with stunning visuals and captivating character design.
Vanillaware's tactical role-playing game Unicorn Overlord is a beautiful mix of old mechanics and new-age graphics, with over 65 unique recruitable characters and a rich storyline.
I have the game and downloaded it going to start it tonight and play it on the Portal.
'Unicorn Overlord' is packed with thrilling strategic challenges that reward clever thinking. Here's why it could be a future strategy classic.
The demo sold me on the game. I will be picking it at some point.
I know they're branching out and evolving and that's great, personally though I'd have liked them to carry on making games like Dragon's Crown and take the genre to new heights.
PS5 is killing my free time. I will definitely get this game and I’m fairly sure I have it preordered but damn when will I have the time for this FF7R, Rise of Ronin, Stellar Blade Eiyuden Chronicles etc etc etc.. I will have to push something aside and buy it a little later there’s just too many games to play in the next 6 months.
The demo was really good. I’ll definitely pick it up.
And I can't play it due to one stupid oversight.
The frame cuts in combat give me motion sickness.
Why...why in a turn based game did you think the enemy and player needed their own frames and cut between the two?
