Baldur’s Gate 3 and Elden Ring can only exist outside the current triple-A studio system

If you keep calling for triple-A publishers to take note of the success of Baldur’s Gate 3, and Elden Ring, you’re miss…

IT CANT BE DONE GUYS, DONT HOLD THEM TO THE SAME STANDARD.

then he proceed to tell us how these much smaller, less funded teams some how managed to what he is saying the more well funded team can't do 😂😂

Can't make this shit up honestly.

Anyone that writes these articles or agrees with them is flat out anti gamer, and the exact reason why so many of our games are designed to suck the blood out of us while providing broken and copy and paste experiences.

And we wonder why these big pubs continue with anti consumers practices, cause you got clowns like this writer making excuses for them.

MrBaskerville296d ago

It could be done in theory, but none of the established AAA publishers is going to undertake such a massive risk. They like playing it safe, unfortunately.

I do think EA would cash in if they went all in on a huge and deep Mass Effect soft reboot.

Yeah, that’s how I took the article. Not that the big AAA studios ‘couldn’t’ make games like BG3 or ER, but that they play it too safe to go out creative limbs. They design barebones games with planned DLCs to fill-in-the-blanks and MTXs to nickel-and-dime for extra revenue. Trying to convince corporate suits to give developers time and free rein to be creative would be an exercise in futility.

Bootlicker mentality. Demand better games regardless.

Hofstaderman296d ago

I’m sorry, these games should be the standard we should come to expect especially from the bigger AAA developers and publishers.

ravinash294d ago

I don't think its to much to expect a game that works on day one and it a full game.

Article makes a great point and I agree with it but is spoiler heavy. It should be marked. If you haven’t played through the game be warned as it even spoils parts of act 3.

Thanks for this dude, I am very interested in playing when I have time and am trying to avoid spoilers.

This game rocks, everything is quality, and I love the cutscenes, which remind me of Dragon Age Origin.

Baldur's Gate 3 PS5 Physical Deluxe Editions Delayed Due to Production Issues

While we were so hoping to not have to update owners of the console physical Deluxe Edition with any further news of delay, we’ve now run into more production issues which means that players who pre-ordered their PS5 North America copy that was expected to ship later this month, will now have to wait until July before they can get their hands on them.
