Interesting article. It does look great in terms of production values and gameplay. The only question at this point is the length, although it clearly has LOADS of replay value thanks to the nature of the score offered at the end of each round (it's a bit like DMC), which I can see becoming very addictive.

Too many gameplay previewers are not talking about the traversal and climbing aspects. I've watched a few that haven't climbed anything even once and some aren't even using the amazing cover system, because they're having way too much fun with the shooting and telekinesis.

I guess it shows there's an abundance of ways to complete each level. I'm betting the game will force you to utilise these different ways in later levels in order to survive.

I just watched this preview, which was pretty good (if you can get past the lame language), and unlike most, it's shown at 4K (albeit only 60fps), so you can get a better appreciation of the graphics:

Looks pretty damn cool. The guy in the video doesn’t read most of the stuff and just runs by it . It seems you can do more but he didn’t bother to check it out lol. It was also funny with the skill tree he just randomly selects whatever class and skills instantly and doesn’t bother to read them first. I would never do that .

Anyway game looks great.

A bit like dmc is a turn off for me. As excited as I am for psvr2 I'd love to see some of the type of games I enjoy vr upped. I'm not much into alot of fps shooters although I find some enjoyable. I'll admit a fps definitely feels different in vr from what I have played. I'm not trashing vr I really enjoyed it l, just would like to see some rpgs and platformer type games, I mentioned yesterday about xcom I know it wouldn't probably happen but I'd love to see xcom 2 in vr I'd buy one today

It's only the fact that it ranks your performance that's like DMC - like clearing an area quickly or stylishly - the rest of the game couldn't be more different. The skill trees are looking pretty deep, I've since seen in other videos, so I'm really liking what I've seen so far. Looks like there are more enemy types and guns than I first thought, too. These previews are all from the first 2 levels and they can only show 12 minutes.

XDefiant dev promises fix to frustrating hit reg issues, though players remain skeptical

Mark Rubin, XDefiant’s executive producer, responded to an X/Twitter post that fixes to hit reg “are something [they] are working on.” Unfortunately, it’s unclear when it will arrive, as neither Rubin nor the development team have yet to provide an actual time frame.

Ha man what is this the 8th time they are working on this issue?

SO the game is using division one maps/assets with some divison 2 thrown in with that we can say they never really made the maps so what have they been doing for there 6 to perhaps 8 years of dev time? must be alot of hookers/blow/parties.

It's astounding how much money they blow and this is the results. Gaming development is out of control.

Right even when ubisoft cancelled division heartland as a beta player that game was a far better state then they push with this trash of a game that is still in a beta state after 3 years of delay's.

we are so starved of any decent fps/3rd person shooters out there it seems we will take anything even though some ps2 fps games were more fun then this game in my old opinion.

FPS_D3TH2d ago

Skeptical because it was an issue with ALL the betas and still hasn’t been fixed

just_looken1d 22h ago

Its like they are using division one servers but they caught fire then were put together with barry/carols help from the janitors wing or some shit. Three years they still can not make it so the gun goes boom the guy gets hit then damage is applied.
