At this year's Gamescom GR stalked our prey from the trees before switching sides and taking aim at the iconic Predator.

So awesome that as humans you can cover yourself in mud to help avoid detection just like the original movie.

Pretty exciting that they stuck largely to the 1987 film with many of the influences. Predator can scan the battlefield with his infrared vision, he has the wrist blades, and the shoulder plasma cannon with laser assisted aiming. The classic cloaking ability and self destruct option sound great as well.

It's very cool that if you are pinned down and basically done for you can press your wrist computer for a self destruct that'll take out some foes along the way.

I love that when you are hurt as Predator you leave a green trail of the classic glowing blood making it easier to locate and more vulnerable.

Supposedly the maps will be huge allowing Predator to swiftly traverse the branches above the ground, stalking his prey. It sounds awesome.

Never cared for the Dead by daylight, Friday the 13th etc. type games. Hopefully with a better budget they can make this one better.

Considering Sony is publishing and people already seem impressed with the pre-alpha i'd imagine that Predator will be higher quality than Friday the 13th. Supposedly the combat and controls already feel tight. Predator also seems like a much more interesting character to hunt as and against than the slow footed Jason Voorhees. With Sony publishing, Friday the 13th as the asymmetrical illfonic testing ground, and Predator as the IP the potential is great. I'm not a mp guy, but this game is actually intriguing because i am a huge fan of the original Predator.

This seems very very similar to evolve. Which imo was a good game if you had people who communicated and worked as a team

They seemed to enjoy it and it's great to hear how tight the gameplay/controls are already.

Some people criticised the game when the gameplay trailer was shown even though it was pre-alpha, it's good to know that actual professionals are impressed when going hands-on.

I just can't bring myself to have any interest in this, its the same people who made Friday the 13th which is absolutely terrible. The game will suck, it just looks cheap and low budget like Friday 13th. I mean just look at the gameplay, i know its alpha but its not going to change much, it look like a 10 year old game.

jokes aside, i don't care about predator (or alien) nor multiplayer only games, so is a pass for me.
