Horizon Zero Dawn Recreated Using Pixel Art, and it Looks Incredible

With such a fantastic in-game world, it comes as no surprise to find fans of Aloy and Horizon Zero Dawn‘s many machines attempting to recreate parts of the game using pixel art, with some pretty impressive results.

Reminds me of the April Fool's joke, Deus Ex: Human Defiance. It'd be awesome to see publishers team up with quality indie devs to make 2D versions of popular franchises. Yacht Club Games, Re-Logic, Playdead, Johnathon Blow, Eric Barone, Thomas Happs Games, etc . . . I mean, Imagine if Conatus Creative made an 8-Bit GTA . . . It'd be hilarious.

because of that perfect switch game with N64 graphics, i think this version of Horizon would get a 99 on Metacritic. It seems the less graphics the higher the score = Shovel Knight has a 90 on metacritic.

The Moral of the story is Sony should tell all in house devs to make a cheap game with 90's and early 2k's graphics instead of trying to push innovation in graphics with games like Horizon.
