That's good to know. I just plan on taking my 2TB HD out of my PS4 and sticking it in my Pro.
"the PS4 Pro will be shipped at launch with [system software] 3.70, with version 4.0 coming soon." I hope not too soon afterwards.. otherwise you can't transfer the stuff over and it defeats the purpose.
that's cool, i just hope it doesn't take 6 hours like the back-up/restore process takes (and then fails on you 5h 30min into it like it did when I replaced my launch PS4 with the newer matte SKU). I'll just get a larger HDD for the Pro, and transfer the data this way if it proves to be a faster process.
Would this be a cut 'n' paste or copy 'n' paste transfer? Ideally I'd like both systems to have the same content, at the same time.
How do I do this if I am trading in my vanilla ps4 when I pick up the Pro? :(
I already sold my PS4, but before I sold, I am backed up my data into my external HDD ... Can i use my external HDD to restore data in new PS4 Pro? :( Sorry for bad english guys.
