The perfect gameplay for journalists.

bababooiy43d ago

The commentary is pure comedy when combined with that basic ass combat being shown.

Gamerscore207743d ago

Not to mention, the game is running at a locked 30fps on the Series X, according to Eurogamer.

^^same as the original PS4/XBO... The 4Pro/One X could get it higher, but not consistent until the 5/Series came along. So expect to see this game hit a rock solid 60 (or more) on the next gen systems. Im surprised they didnt offer a 40fps mode when setting the system to 120hz.

Elda44d ago

Imo the combat looks average at best. Looking badass I beg to differ.

Obscure_Observer44d ago

How you beg to differ, once you don´t had any first hand experience with the combat of that game?

So you bought Rise of Ronin day one and are here calling Hellblade II average? Strange.

I´m 100% that Hellblade II will best that game in every single comparable aspect! Just my two cents.

Btw, you said you have no interest in Hellblade II and yet, for some reason, you can´t stay away.

Flakegriffin44d ago

You have a weird fixation for Microsoft owned titles.

Obscure_Observer43d ago

"You have a weird fixation for Microsoft owned titles."

I played the first Hellblade on the PS4 when it was exclusive, genius. If you had been here for long enough you would know.

A great game is a great on PC, Playstation, Xbox or Nintendo consoles. I´m an Xbox guy first and foremost, but I´ll be dammed the day I pass on a great game because some stupid console war agenda.

RaidenBlack43d ago

@Flakegriffin
Like many people here have for PS or Nintendo or CDPR titles ...
People can like different things ...
Don't get the sudden diss here for a studio just becoz it got acquired by MS recently?
The studio made Heavenly sword for PS remember? While not perfect, it was generally well-received at the time. I considered it PS3's next-gen God of War at the time.

Elda43d ago

I can comment on any article I like just as you comment on articles you claim to have no interest in. Imo the first Hellblade was whack & I'm quite sure the second may be in the same boat but I have Gamepass so I don't have to fork over $50 I can just demo the game to see how it really is...lol!

Ironmike43d ago

Rise of the ronin is awful game I wouldn't mention that game in any sort of discussion

Obscure_Observer43d ago

"I have Gamepass so I don't have to fork over $50 I can just demo the game to see how it really is...lol!"

If you have the *time* to "demo" a game you have absolute no interest in, you don´t really have much to play on the consoles that you claim to prefer. Just saying.

This will not be the first time you said you have no interest on an Xbox first party game just to have it day one on your console. It´s getting old really, because when it comes to Xbox games and your claims that you have no interest in those, I know that you feel the opposite and will getting it day one.

You play games on a console you don´t like, and you pay for a service for games that you have no interest in.

Something´s off. But who am I my to judge?

Do what you do.

Flakegriffin42d ago

I don’t care if you’ve played every game ever made

It doesn’t detour from the facts that you have a weird fixation toward Microsoft games. Your comments provide enough proof to back that up but please tell me how you’ve been here from the beginning of time. @obscure

No wonder the review embargo ends at release day.

Best of luck to team ninja I hope the game sale as much as its predecessor or way more

gold_drake1d 16h ago

its gotten so common to have a day1 patch woth newer games, that devs even advertise their games with "no day 1 patch" haha.
