Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade: Wrath of the Mutants, the 2017 arcade game by Raw Thrills based on the 2012 Nickelodeon TV series, is coming to all home consoles (read: Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam) on April 23. It'll be priced at $29.99.
Adam Vale of The Koalition writes: So based on the response that I received from friends and fellow online gamers, it appears a large majority of people were not only unaware of this game being in arcades but that a port was also in the works for all current consoles. I must admit that I was also late to the party on this one, but not by much.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back in a new adventure inspired by the Nickelodeon series and games such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time and although short on length, the game packs loads of nostalgic fun.
Raw Thrills is a company that’s made a name for itself in modern arcades. But can it do the TMNT series justice on home consoles?
Sold.
Played this all the way through in the arcade last year, its okay, nothing all that special. It doesn't come close to the Konami classic TMNT games, but I'm still glad to see it get a home port (all arcade games should get home ports!), with added content.
Not as good as the classics, but still a decent one! Would like to grab this on Switch if possible. Even better if it gets a physical.
I'm happy about all of the TMNT game releases the last few years. Will be grabbing this for sure.
