Planescape: Torment, Baldur's Gate Re-Releasing This Week?

IncGamers reports that listings on both Amazon and PEGI seem to indicate that old Interplay titles, including Baldur's Gate and Planescape: Torment, may see re-releases later this week.

since all of the backgrounds are prerendered, it's dated far better than most games from that time

So what's with people complaining about Wii graphics in so many threads if graphics don't matter? Graphics are important for immersion.

The Wii is a next gen console. These games are 9-10 years old. From which *should* we expect contemporary visuals exactly?

As for immersion, if you need pretty explosions instead some of the very *best* writing in RPGs, stick with Halo and Killzone.

Kinda cool I guess. Seems they just allowed the camera to zoom in right on top of the characters head and then able to control movement like a fps. Makes me wonder what the game would be like if I didn't ever zoom way out and scroll over the environment to check out for enemies nearby almost constantly.
