WB Games ignoring the Batman: Arkham community this blatantly points to the self-sabotage of the franchise as a whole.
The game itself may very well turn out to be cool, but WB Games' handling of the franchise has been shocking, to say the least.
Camouflaj and Oculus Studios have announced Meta Quest 3 exclusive Batman: Arkham Shadow, with plenty of reasons to be excited for the game.
Were it on ps vr2 aswell or other headsets too then I might have been. But it isn't so I'm not because most of us can't play it.
Stop being selfish, stupid and greedy. Gamers keep asking where are the big IP titles for VR. But when it gets them, you hate on it or complain that it's not releasing somewhere else. Same thing happened with Iron Man. Whining and complaining. I'm all for hybrid games where it plays flat or VR so that everyone wins. But at the same time, VR needs exclusives too to get gamers to at least TRY the platform.
How do you know they're not making a Batman game for current consoles? How do you know this VR game is a misstep without even seeing it or playing it? Jumping the gun with your stupid article?
Just like a new Iron Man game is being made for flat gaming after Iron Man VR. I'm sure without question that there will be another Batman game for consoles. There's so many games made on the property that it's become pretty much tradition to make one for every console. About as much as Skyrim being ported to every device.
Hold your horses and give it time. And stop complaining that companies are trying to grow VR into a viable platform.
