When it works it's a great bf experience, but on my sx I've had complete system shutdowns, screen freezes, controller freezes, animation locks, you name it.
But like I say, when it goes right it's brilliant fun playing breakthrough. Conquest is just a messy free for all.
Gonna need a hell of a lot of patching

Dice needs to make dedicated rooms for team deathmatch and squad deathmatch like they have for conquest and rush. I tried to browse custom rooms and join one but the game always just takes me back to the main menu. I can always play rush or conquest with no problem which is great fun.

I’d hardly call a hero shooter a bf experience. It feels like cod warzone with vehicles and apex characters.

There’s a skin with long frizzy hair and stud belts snd another with some dumb butcher coat looking thing.

Nothing about it even looks like a battlefield. It looks like a bunch of cosplayers.

Thats odd I haven't had any of those issues with mine. I mean some bugs here and there but no crashes and a couple errors joining games here and there.

It only gets worse considering this is not a free to play game like warzone. The gold edition here costs 100 euros. ONE HUNDRED EUROS for a broken BF game with no campaign, that has lost it's identity.

I been playing it I've had fun on pc i have seen a few bugs like my scope disappearing and when i zoom in and my gun aims to the right for some reason when i try to quick scope. But over all on my PC with a 3070 with HDR on at 1440P my game runs ,feels, and looks great.

Had a couple server issues Friday night, to be expected. But its been smooth for me. Especially considering bf4's disastrous launch

The beta basically ends up as the full game tbh with very few improvements upon launch.
Its why over the last few years I wait 1 month now before buying a new release online game.
I only buy AAA 1st party day1 these days.
If devs and pubs want my money they have to earn it, unfortunately they don't seem to get that or don't seem to realise the impact we can have on social media and other websites to call them out.

This just doesn’t work for me. We have very little real impact. The internet blew up against specialists, followed by the developer saying how everyone loves specialists. Then you still see specialists. Really got ‘em good on that one, didn’t we?

I only played a few games on PC against bots only and the only problems I saw was sometimes I would see bots moving without their legs moving which is probably due to network lag or my PC which is getting old.

I wish I could say I'm surprised, but troubled releases are the norm nowadays. Publishers believe they can drop broken titles and patch their flipping brains out to success. It just blows my mind! I honestly believe regulations should be imposed on publishers as well as developers to prevent them from releasing hot garbage like Battlefield, Cyberpunk, GTA Trilogy, etc.

This was the least battlefield like game I’ve ever played and it’s got more than a few issues. It’s playable but the design choices, portal problems, weapon bloom especially BC2, xp glitches, menu glitches, specialist ability glitches, allies looking like enemies. The list is far too long and acceptable for a AAA game. Yes it’s early launch, but wow… is there anybody left at Dice who know what BF is anymore? Where’s the destruction? Hazard Zone at least felt good to play as a squad. Conquest is pretty good too. Breakthrough with 128 players is just chaotic and 128 players in general deally does make this game run like complete ass. Killer for cpus. Wish I could take more advantage of my 3080. My I9-9900k should be able to handle 4k medium graphics but it can hardly hold 60fps

Yup. Maybe it was just yesterday’s servers. I restarted the game on medium settings at 2k and I get about 70-90 fps on the most taxing maps. But my card does fine. The game does a number on your cpu with the player count. I should be able to squeeze by a minimum 60fps at 4k high settings with Ray tracing off but somethings off and I barely surpass 55 fps

1942 portal is the best experience so far. No lag, no hit registration issues, not really any FPS drops, no server issues. Main game is broken, BC2 has bad hit reg issues at the moment. Hope they can clear it up quickly

I’m 9 hours into my trial on sx, up until the last 2 hours I don’t think I’ve really had that many noticeable issues. Mainly my problems have been design decisions that don’t make any sense to me.
Why is there no score board?
Why is the 3D audio so so quiet?
Why is there no unlock-able infra red or thermal sights for any vehicle?
Why is the respawn screen so horrible to use with a controller.
And really annoyingly there’s no way of exiting your wing suit on Xbox other than hitting the floor or a wall. There’s more I’m sure you’ll all discover for yourselves. But then bug wise I’ve only been kicked from one game, no crashes! My anti air rocket launcher sometimes won’t lock on, and not just after whatever I’m targeting has used their anti lock on firework things. I feel like switching between using my weapons and pulling out a grenade takes forever. I hate how a base in conquest might be on top of a building but when I spawn there at least half the time it spawns me on the street.

Any one playing on console, there’s already enough players to just go ahead a switch off cross play, I’ve not noticed any bots filling servers with it off. No one wants to just be cannon fodder for those playing with keyboard and mouse

The one thing I hate is the lack of voice comms… wtf Dice? How is HZ supposed to succeed with only your basic ping system to coordinate with? Is it really THAT hard to allow game chat?

Bit of an older system: I7 4790k, 2133 mhz ddr3 16gb, gtx 1080. Any way my settings are, low to ultra, doesn't matter. With a maximum of 5 seconds into a game, pc crashes with bsod or just freezes and resets.

My pc should be fine, no other games give me these crashes so hoping it can get fixed.

Even with an 3080 and i9... damn. Managed to get it running since my post. Everything low with 2560 × 1440 and borderless windowed, future frames option off and tinkered with a lot of settings outside of the game.

Cpu usage through the roof, gpu usage very low, so probably gonna test how high I can crank up the settings again.

The game eats cpu, but my pc also had an advanced setting in the power section, minimum cpu usage, that I could set to 5%. This probably avoided a couple crashes.

I have no idea how this game is getting such good review scores. It has so many bugs it's unreal, and even without the bugs it's just not that good. Feels and looks like a f2p game.

Erm I've played it a considerable amount all weekend yeah there's been the odd server issue and some Lag etc but as far as game launches go and for an online only gsme title it's been rather successful. I remember GTA online wasn't playable for me till like a week after it had launched....similar with BF4

Man… bf4 was a different story altogether. I got my Xbox one at launch for bf4 and it worked ok for the first 24 hours then it was completely and utterly broken for weeks. I found it impossible to join a game for ages, and then when I did get in one it was a rubber banding nightmare. And it looked like ass straight off the bat. Seriously disappointing start to that gen for me.

But I also had bf3 and bc2 at launch and I don’t remember any real problems with them on the 360
