Ultimately you simply must give Left 4 Dead your time. It'll compete with Call of Duty: World at War on release day, but there's no reason but for poverty itself, that you shouldn't potentially purchase both games. There's so much tension and just pure fun to be had here that it is quite impossible to ignore, and if you're a player that craves genuine team cohesion then this could be one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences you've ever had. The only thing this game is missing is a G-String clad and rotting Jenna Jameson.
Huzaifa from eXputer: "2008 was home to the likes of Call of Duty: World at War, Dead Space, GTA 4, Far Cry 2, Left 4 Dead, and many other hits, which is outright remarkable."
Just about every year in the 7th generation was great and something we most likely won't experience again.
2009 for example had Assassin's Creed 2, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Dragon Age: Origins, Uncharted 2, Halo 3: ODST, Killzone 2, Borderlands, Bayonetta, and Demon's Souls to name a few.
Times are changing, and these games would have never been made in today's climate.
Every single time someone uses this phrase whether it's music, movies, books, comics, video games, etc it's always the same claim.
The ubiquitous "they" won't allow it to be made. And every decade these claims are made the claimant completely ignores all the "offensive" material that is published when the claim is made.
In ten years, you can write a new article about how you can't make games like Helldivers 2, Resident Evil VIII, Mortal Kombat I, Dragon's Dogma 2, Alan Wake 2 etc etc etc any more.
Dead Island: "The early PC version of the zombie game swapped the playable character Purna’s Gender Wars skill with a prototype name, which shouldn’t be mentioned directly. The skill name made fun of both Purna as a character and feminists."
"Feminist Whore" lmao
ill add one more to the list.
drakengard 1.
its ridiculous tho, especially since they'd still be able to find their place in alot of places in the world. except america of course ha. and maybe Australia.
ppl are so sensitive these days. ha. but it is what it is.
They're not offensive.
And we need another Fat Princess. Fantastic little game!
Some people just have no sense of humour if this sort of thing offends them. They need to lighten up and stop taking themselves so seriously.
He wants to launch all his projects initially through close beta.
Left 4 Dead is so addicting. I've completed like half the achievements in one day.
The superior version. Where I will get my copy today.
Minimum requirements are a joke. 8 year old computers and laptops can run this game.
And best played with mouse and keyboard anyway.
I guess I'll never understand all the love for this game.
If you don't have online it's practically worthless - yet it's not sold as an online-only game.
There's a complete lack of content, and whilst the AI director does its best, the gameplay gets very repetitive for me (and OK that was the demo but I've not seen anything to suggest that the rest of the game is any different).
The graphics are awful and are somehow getting praised... (9/10 from IGN - that puts it in the same league as Uncharted, Gears of War 2, Crysis even)...
I didn't find it that fun, and the whole "survival horror" element that I'd expect in this game is non-existent in favour of a very arcadey experience.
I'll tell you what - if this game was in an arcade/bar I'd happily drop a couple of quid in it and have a bit of fun. That's what it feels like - a very shallow arcade experience that's fun for a bit but gets old fast.
Yet again another great score just goes to prove how popular Microsoft games are even droids are willing to purchase a MICROSOFT game for PC.
