Sony Could Increase Your Game's Difficulty If It Sees You Complain About It

Sony has recently published a new patent that wants to dynamically handle the games' difficulty and gameplay based on the player's emotions.

I remember playing Titanfall 2 back in the day and I complained to a friend that the campaign was boring. My friend recommended I play on a higher difficulty because I usually play on normal and it was a night and day improvement. It went on to be one of my favorite fps of the generation.

Hopefully the system can distinguish between difficulty and challenge, along with it the scaled reward if not inherent.

I would love to see accessibility change automatically based on my actual reaction times. I like that Spider-Man 2 and Ghostrunner have a slow mo modes. Let me age gracefully.
