The upscaling technology is slowly becoming a must for AAA games to achieve the best performance.
Obaid from eXputer: "Learn about the location and stats of the Disciple armor set, the newest heavy armor introduced in the second DLC of Remnant 2."
As we mentioned in our review of Remnant 2: The Forgotten Kingdom, there isn’t much to the latest DLC. Outside of the initial mystery behind unlocking the Invoker archetype, players discovered everything else with relative ease besides a weapon called Polygun. - IS
Remnant 2: The Forgotten Kingdom only came to enrich the storyline of the base game, the Pan civilization, and Yaesha.
I like the game a lot. I would like the outside world to be a little more detailed open and varied but overall it’s a really good game and I understand they are limited by their budget and team size. For a lower priced game it’s worth more than they charge
Yet RTX 4090 can't run it?
That's the thing about upscaling ai, devs will rely on that rather than polishing and optimizing the game. Sad...
It’s only a must because developers are being lazy. Always knew DLSS would end up being abused like this. It may be getting better with the 4k series cards but the image quality is best as native.
720p internal on the consoles sounds pretty shocking but reconstruction tech has been employed by pretty much every PC gamer (DLSS,FSR) and console developer for years - when you need a pixel counter to tell you the difference whats the issue, you dont want more FPS?
Being the "first" UE5 game im not overly surprised, its will take time to get the best out of the engine/hardware. People expect all the advancements that come with UE5 with no trade off day 1.
The lazy bastards....
The game is $49.99.
It looks like a really good game and they put a lot of love into it. This is a smaller developer using a new engine and although I know it’s popular to hate on devs for being lazy I think they did what they could with what they had to work with.
I would like every game to have polish of a Rockstar or Sony made game but that isn’t realistic. It’s easy for us to say give it more time but they don’t have endless funds. Even games that have massive backing from big companies like MS fail miserably like Redfall. This game looks nothing like a failure and although not perfect I think they did a good job.
