As Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door turns 15-years-old, we look back on a GameCube RPG classic that has only gotten better with time.
NoobFeed editor Azfar Rayan writes - Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door probably has one or two issues that might annoy you, but it's also one of the greatest and wildest role-playing games ever made. The remake adds several renewed concepts that make it stand apart even more and it's undoubtedly one of the finest and most adored role-playing games of all time.
Great remake... it had been so long since I played the GC original that I completely did not notice a difference in fps. This feels very natural as it is and looks great doing it.
Initial sales match Origami King.
Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is a near-legendary RPG these days, but does it still hold up after all this time?
Who considers this a secret? I feel like I have seen a thousand dissertations extolling the virtues of Thousand Year Door.
I've never heard anyone think Thousand-Year Door is under appreciated or not talked about enough. It's highly regarded as the best RPG Nintendo ever released or tied with Super Mario RPG, and every Paper Mario game after it never came close.
Naw Super Mario RPG: Legend Of The Seven Stars was Incredible, Geno was Awesome , Mallow was a CryBaby, loved all the little hidden things packed in the game
I still can't believe this has never been remastered for newer Nintendo systems. Crazy.
