Well, new games get released, and people move on, why is this even news. God of War has just released, and that'll draw a crowd, give it a few weeks and Detroit will release, and people will move on, and so the cycle continues.

Derceto2207d ago

The fact you even have to explain this, says a lot about modern day thinking in this hobby.

RpgSama2207d ago

This is a single player game, of course people that played it and enjoyed it very much are now playing other things they will enjoy very much only to keep moving on, this was a stupid article

letsa_go2207d ago

This really says a lot about our society

johndoe112112207d ago

The reason it's news is because the gaming media invested a lot of time and effort into trying to destroy this game due to what they deemed as a lack of "diversity". Any so called "negative" news about this game will have them chasing after it like a dog in heat.

StormSnooper2207d ago (Edited 2207d ago )

The gaming media didn’t do no such thing. It was the same couple of nut jobs fishing for clicks.

BLKxSEPTEMBER2207d ago

You have any facts to back that claim up? Or are you stating opinion as fact?

ArchangelMike2207d ago

I have to agree with you there. I remember the articles stating that Warhorse Studios was racist and sexist because of their historical representation of 15th century Bohemia.

babadivad2207d ago

I remember when RE 5 came out and people were in an uproar because Chris was killing black zombies. IN AFRICA. . .

RememberThe3572207d ago

It was one article by a chick who's not even a gamer. The response to that article was bigger than the damn article calling the game out. The article she wrote was stupid and so was the response. Idiocy all around, as always.

Exactly, game was awesome, I'm probably going to play it again, but instead of being a smart quick dude just be some big dumb illiterate ass. GoW is too good and FC5 takes up most of my PC time.

Do You want to get good income at home? do you not know how to start earnings on Internet? there are some popular methods to earn huge income at your home, but when people try that, they bump into a scam so I thought i must share a verified and guaranteed way for free to earn a great sum of money at home. Anyone who is interested should read the given a ___+()()*)()____+_+_+_________ http://www.fl-y.com/3qx0

warriorcase2207d ago

Exactly. Seems like a very strange thing to say. It's a single player only story driven game not an MMO

babadivad2207d ago

Monster Hunter World has taken over my gaming world. I haven't touched any of the amazing new games that came out.

TheSaint2206d ago

Apparently two people disagree......

CaptainObvious8782206d ago

And I'm one of those 95% that spend about 150 hours in the game and loved it.

But the head designer of the game is a "thilthy" gamergate supporter that had to audacity to speak out against the sjw infested games media, and we all know all GGers are racists and sexists even though #noyourshield, so his game needs to be vilified. /s

Isn't that the case with most games when time passes? Particularly single player games?

chris2352207d ago

i never ever replay games. because boooring.
when i decide to get the platinum trophy i might play a title a little bit longer. but after a few weeks the next best thing is out and therefore no need to ever get back doing boring replays.

ArchangelMike2207d ago

You can spot Millenials a mile away with that kind of comment. I wonder if you only ever listen to a song or music album once, "because booooring".

smh

letsa_go2207d ago

I never really replay games either and I am far from a millennial. I just have such a huge backlog of games that I need to get to before I die. haha

Silly Mammo2207d ago

Yeah I'm a few decades too old to be a millennial and I hardly ever replay games.

NapalmSanctuary2207d ago

Maybe you never played a game that was worth a replay. Back in the day, games used to be built around replay value. Its one of the big weaknesses of modern gaming, especially a lot of the story centric games that come out nowadays.

Do people say the same things about movies? Like 2 weeks after big openings and other people see a new big movie are there articles saying such and such movie isn’t performing as well as it’s open day?

UltraNova2207d ago

Exactly, every single movie that played up until Infinity Wars came outis now considered an unwatchable worthless waste of a time.....

Just Bought it Thank you after checking reviews alot people enjoyed it Worth Picking up for that Price.

Spenok28d ago

I already own the physical copy on PS4, and even bought it on Steam for my Steamdeck... but I went ahead and bought this as well. Because, why not?

Aussiesummer27d ago

If you just like wasting money sure.

Spenok27d ago

It's not wasting money, it's me supporting the developer, in hopes it helps them in the long run to continue making amazing games.

This one was certainly not a needed purchase. As for the Steam copy, I wanted to be able to take the game on the go, and it was on a good deal besides.

thesoftware73028d ago

Yeah, good price, saw this yesterday on SX as well
