I'm ashamed to say I didn't play this on the PS4 when it came out, so I decided to preorder for the X this morning after reading this article and checking out a few reviews.

The funny thing is, its installing now...

Is it usual for games to pre load this far out from release, Its a 15.39GB download if anyone can compare with the PS4 install size?

Hellblade on Xbox supports HDR and the game is enhanced for Xbox One X, with players having the choice of 3 enhanced modes to select from: Enhanced Visuals mode offers extra FX and visual quality throughout the experience, High Framerate mode runs the game at 60fps and High Resolution mode runs the game with dynamic resolutions up to 4K.

I have a Skylake I5 6600k and a GTX 1080 and I can only run at 1440p with max settings. I tried to get to 4K but could not unless I went to 30 fps. I prefer 60 however, thus 1440p.

Oh ok, I see what you meant. I have a set of Astro A50s, but I prefer the sound of my Onkyo receiver and Klipsch surround. Bet this will seeing great either way.

They recorded the voices in Senua's head using a legit binaural microphone but you only get the full effect of it if you wear headphones (running in stereo, not virtual surround).

I know what you mean though. I have a Harman/Kardon receiver with Polk Audio surround myself and I can confirm this game was still better on headphones :) It's down right unsettling hearing those voices creep up right next to your ear!

I just platimuned this one, if you're xbox only and love a cryptic atmosphere you're in for a treat. The play with headphones thing is no joke, it intensifies the storytelling and screws with your mind and emotions. I definitely recommend this one.

It is a very short experience but a good one. I wouldn't expect to spend more than a few days with it but it will be an experience you will remember.

people are forgetting what will make this the definitive version. Xbox One supports Dolby Atmos. The game is all about audio and i fully plan to replay it on the Xbox One X if Dolby Atmos is supported

Might not do well because it’s a distant memory, but we Xbox players just like games period. It doesn’t have to be the same retread over and over for it to be a game people would like.

I’m interested if the price is decent, not paying full retail for a game that’s been out over a year, and how long isn’t it. Narrative driven games that end too quick are a waste of money to me.

Since this game was on steam and now coming to xbox, do you guys think Death Stranding or Shenmue have a chance as well?

I'd say maybe Shenmue. Death Stranding I wouldn't count on though. I think Sony has some sort of funding in the game, and it's using Sony's own Decima engine, so a lot of work would need to be done to get it up and running on the X1. Decima supports PC though, so could end up there.

Death Stranding? Not a chance. Not only is it using an in-house Sony engine, Decima, the IP as a whole is owned by SCE. There’s an ever slight chance it could end up on PC, but Xbox no.
