New screenshots show off the gritty world of Blade Runner: Revelations.
It'll launch on "all major VR platforms," but none were explicitly mentioned; we can probably expect Oculus Rift, Vive, and Google Daydream at a minimum.
“we can probably expect Oculus Rift, Vive, and Google Daydream”
They said “All” major platforms. That would include the most major of all platforms. PSVR.
This week Gareth, Justin, and Michael look at the rumors of a new Superman game from Rocksteady, A Blade Runner VR game, and E3.
Key points are at..
E3 4:47
6:47 Rocksteady Superman
Blade runner 9:28
Rumor: A 4chan user thread lists the following on a Rocksteady Superman game:
"– Made by Rocksteady
– Unreal Engine 4
– Big open world Metropolis(about 3 times the size of Arkham Knight with a lot more buildings)
– Can’t play as Clark Kent
– Main villain is Brainiac
– Nerfed Superman (TAS Levels)
– Semi-destructible environments(think AK, no buildings are falling over)
– Combat system integrates the flying (kind of like DBZ, you can punch someone then zoom towards them and repeat)
– Set within the Arkhamverse
– Tons of easter eggs to Superman’s lore, and some to the events that took place in the Batman Arkham Franchise
Rocksteady and WB Montreal are also working on a joint multiplayer game (Hence the multiplayer hirings on Rocksteady’s site). This is for a planned Justice League game down the road. They had to nail Superman first. Announcement should be incoming about a couple weeks before E3. (One of those “see more/gameplay at E3 type of reveals)"
I 'm so excited for a properly done Sups game. But no real destructibility? Nerfed Superman? Well they have to start somewhere I guess...
Yet another Blade Runner VR videogame is on the way.
I finally got around to seeing the movie the artistic style of the film is beautiful. The score also is pure magic. I'd like to see a real Blade Runner game over this. Microsoft reviving Shadowrun would be good too. The whole cyberpunk genre could be great in video game format, but for whatever reason no one really does anything with it, which is sad.
I remember playing a Blade Runner game on my PC back in the late 90s...
It really was a great game and more imersive than the movie..
I would love a remake of that game before this one comes out.
