PlayStation E3 Experience 2017 Announce

On June 12, PlayStation invites its fans to gather together and experience the news and excitement of E3 LIVE on a massive screen in movie theaters across North America.

The PlayStation E3 Experience will feature an HD simulcast of the PlayStation E3 Press Conference, packed with announcements on the future of gaming. Attendees will go home with special PlayStation items, including a commemorative poster, #76 from the PlayStation Collectable Card series, and a digital gift basket with exclusive items.

I'm kind of surprised it's in less then 2 weeks and there's hardly been any leaks...which is surprising considering there's so many by now, especially from Sony

Anyway they've been doing the cinema thing for 2 years now, why don't they get it put on UK cinemas. Sure it's on at 2.00 over here but they usually do midnight showings to other films so not like it's impossible

Sometimes cinemas have all nighter events on that ruin from midnight to 6/7am in the morning

Probably because of the time and the money it would cost to have employees there at 2:00am in the morning. I'll just watch it online like I always do. I would have to bring my daughter with me and she would be talking and bouncing around the seat. Wouldn't be a good experience for me.

Hows the theater compared to being at home watching 1-3 livefeeds, moving around as you please, etc?

You can be nude, scratch your balls, etc. at home. But at the theater, when the crowd is lit up crazy on the same title you're hyped for, you can't help but jump for joy WITH the crowd.

That would be great if theres a great crowd. That, and actual good swag is the only reason I can think of, but on the other side I wanna watch with my friends via internet. So its basically a swag thing....I mean you cant really tell if its gonna be a lanyard or some cool playstation toy/action figure ie.

I will be in the theatre again this year. You get exclusives gifts, probably another exclusive them, money on PSN and you get to watch it with a crowd and in a theatre. Its pretty awesome to see the excitement live.
