Fallout 4: 7 Huge DLC Rumors And Possible Locations

It already feels like an age since the explosive launch of Fallout 4, and many are now familiar with the Boston Wasteland’s cities, vaults and hidden corners. That’s not to say that fans have seen all there is to see, but as we approach 2016, it’s time to start piecing together the information around what we can expect in the new year.

Bethesda have an excellent track record of DLC with their RPGs (they’ve come a long way since Oblivion’s Horse Armor). Fallout 3 and New Vegas had five and four DLC packs respectively, featuring whole new locations, intriguing new storylines that in some cases fed back into the main quest, and an array of new perks and weapons.

Can't wait I just beat the 3 endings and I am 4 trophies from a platinum, bring on DLC!!

Yui_Suzumiya3082d ago

I pray you have the patience for Benevolent Leader, lol .. Took two weeks of playing on and off to get it. All the other trophies I got within a month after the game launched.

USMC_POLICE3081d ago

Yea I'm trying I'm using starlight drive in, any tips? Lol

pulsarinferno3081d ago

Benevolent Leader is the only hard one if your on a Xbox or PS system. But you have to have your character spec'ed for it and need about 50,000 caps.

woutervanjel3081d ago

Get 9 tier 3 clinics and then just play the game. Do quests and stuff.. I did it this way and it took me 15 hours to get to 100 happiness. Got platinum now, yay.

Oh bethesda there are game breaking bugs in the game and yet the DLC is already on it's way out, I would hope that they fix that before delivering more content. I have platinum the game so I have spent a good amount of time playing the game the bug I have encounter effectively breaks the game by not allowing you to level up anymore which means you can't get any perks which in turn gives me no reason to play and explore.

There is a work a round this by hard saving after you complete any objective but it still sucks because I still don't know what causes this, it has already happened to me twice so it's definitely a bug that has put me off from this game fallout 4 is a good game but it definitely has it's problems.

Yui_Suzumiya3082d ago (Edited 3082d ago )

Game breaking? I got the platinum trophy and never had any glitches or freezing. About 100 hours was spent on the game and 85 were before any patch was released (aside from the day 1 patch). What level did you reach before it stopped leveling? I got to like 55 before fully completing everything.

digitalpariah3081d ago

Game breaking? If you can't play this game then you need to check your system, yo

Realms3081d ago

It's not game breaking in the sense that it won't allow you to complete the game, it's game breaking because Bethesda's intension was to allow you to keep playing long after you do. I was level 49 and it glitch so I reload it a previous save only for it to happened again at level 51 when doing a side quest. Some people may not have experienced said bugs but that does not mean they aren't out in wild.

OutcastMosquito3081d ago

Great game but it falls short of amazing when you do the same kill raider mission 10 times..

How nice of them to give us more control over graphical settings as a way to *completely* avoid taking accountability for the broken Xbox settings.

bondsmx17d ago

Well, I still crashed like 5 times last night within two hours. So there’s that.

anast17d ago

I had to stop. The game is not good. I'd rather play Skyrim and that game isn't that good either.

I Think It's About Time We Realize Fallout 4 Wasn't That Bad

Ahmed from eXputer: "2015's Fallout 4 received harsh criticism upon launching, but I think it was unwarranted and the game deserves more praise than it got."

helicoptergirl23d ago

It was totally that bad. I couldn't finish the campaign it was so bland and boring as I recall. Got so sick of it. 1000 stimpaks on hard. It is very rare that I play half a game and then just quit. I usually always finish it. But i was so bored with this game I just stopped and never went back and never regretted it. Just thinking about that game makes me shudder

Furesis23d ago

That's exactly what happened to me too lmao
Fallout 4 is not a fallout game period it's a bethesda game

Vits23d ago

The comparison with Skyrim is mind-boggling. Yes, Skyrim has streamlined many of the systems that Morrowind introduced. However, it did not tamper with the core of the Elder Scrolls franchise; it did not diminish the freedom and sense of exploration that made Bethesda RPGs famous. Fallout 4, on the other hand, did exactly that to the Fallout series. It eliminated what made Fallout such a beloved series to play. There are no consequences for your choices, no reason to explore, and barely any interesting set pieces in the game.

It's not terrible, but it's a painfully mediocre game in a franchise that typically doesn't produce such mediocrity. So that is why people see it as bad, the bar is just much higher.

anast22d ago

They both feel the same because they are, it's just that one has swords and magic and the other has swords and guns.

anast22d ago

I'm replaying it now. It sucks. I'm about 30 hours in and thinking about quitting again. I am so tired of the dialogue I just spam a random button because it doesn't matter. The upgrade just feels like a graphical mod, everything else is not good.

Good-Smurf22d ago (Edited 22d ago )

I couldn't play the game as-is it was insanely boring and grindy and the grind itself are not fun at all.
Mods helped me stomach the game a bit better but after a while I just stopped playing and uninstalled it because the game did nothing after the first few hours to give me any motivation to keep playing it, it just became a mindless looter shooter with obsession in settlement building and defending.
Compared to F3 and FNV, F4 was barely a mediocre game it wasn't bad but it's also very forgettable entry.

MrDead22d ago

It's not that bad after 300+ mods that fix it's issues and make the game fun... but lets not talk about mods right now as they are f****d.
