Its a smear on the Diablo franchise, wont even release where they cant sell loot boxes, its a blow like BF2042 is to the BF franchise, and that has more integrity.

I think part of the reason is China: for several years now, it is impossible to "sell" a complete, finished game in China. Chinese censor stop issue licence for any finished game. So all the current games in China can only be "subsided" within a state of "perpetual beta test". Developer can never "finish" their development in China.

True. D1 was okay. D2 is one of my top gaming experiences. D3 a cellphone game disguised as a PC/console game. Immortal a F2P cellphone game.

Honestly Diablo 1 and 2 were both great for their time.

I actually liked some of the more 'hardcore' mechanics in D1, like being limited in using spells cause they consumed a spellbook you found (or had a number of charges before you lose them) and then you'd need to find a new spellbook, it made you use everything more sparingly and think about how to descend the levels/floors in that game.

Played it since yesterday on mobile and an hour on PC and the whole time was thinking, "Why am I playing this when I can just play the better version Diablo 3?" Game has some ok QOL features but that's about it.
