Very much so. Graphically it's dated but the story and the gameplay haven't aged a day. It's still one of my all time favourite RPGs and for me is better than Remake in some ways.

I would say The Witcher is more an antidote for GoT. I don't see how FF7 has any correlation.
This is not even close to game of thrones lol. Play witcher 3 like other poster said or actually try out mount and blade, that's a lot like game of thrones.
